Torn or worn out wallet – Make sure your wallet isn’t torn or very old. Also, check the place where you keep your money (locker or a safe). This should be in good condition; not rusted or broken. It is good to keep a silver coin, peepal leaf and Goddess Laxmi photo in a locker to attract more wealth.

Broken & unused thing – Many people do not dispose unused & nonfunctional electronics things and store these in homes. Remember, it’s home, not trash warehouse. Nonfunctional things at home generate negativity & wrath of ‘Rahu.’ If you observe heaps of such things at home, better to dispose off those to eliminate negative energy.

Unused clothes strips & rags – In Indian houses, strips & rags of clothes are generally found in cupboards & corners. Vastu Shastra advises immediately disposing these strips & rags to accommodate auspiciousness at home.

Cobwebs – Never let spiders to web inside the home. Cobwebs resist prosperity and hindrance in your professional & personal life. If possible, clean house floor with saline water once in a week to remove negativity from the home.
Open cupboard – Do not keep your cupboard always open & keep the doors closed. If doors are broken, get these repaired.

Broken idols & torn pictures of God/Goddess – Broken idols or torn pictures of Gods and Goddess are considered inauspicious. Do not keep them inside you house.

Keep terrace clean – Many people start storing unwanted things at terrace of home. Keep terrace clean & remove trash & unwanted things.

These paintings – If you’re fond of collecting paintings of different kinds to put at home or your place of work, here’s something to be careful about. Certain pictures like the Taj Mahal (which is a tomb), Natraj idol (depicting Lord Shiva’s dance of destruction), Mahabharata picture or photo of Tiger, sinking ship or flowing water (or waterfall) attract bad luck as per Vastu.

Broken furniture – Throw away any broken stuff like chair, cupboards, bed etc. as they increase the flow of negative energy inside the house, leading to financial crunch.

Views of today’s modern generation may be contradicted with the points raised in this post, but many cultures have started embracing Vastu recommendations. Even modern science validates the presence of positive energy & negative energy at a place. Presence of things mentioned in the post creates negative energy around us, resulting financial loss & repeated failures.
