Cures fever – With its anti-bacterial and antibiotic properties, it cures common infections, including fever. Boil a few leaves of tulsi along with powdered cardamom in half litre water and let it reduce to half in quantity. Mix this decoction with sugar and milk and have a sip of it once in every two to three hours.
Good for diabetes – With antioxidants and essential oils that produced caryophyllene, eugenol and methyl, it can all help the pancreatic beta cells, which store and release insulin, function better.
