Some of these skills are taught in education, other are taught ob the job but the skills we learn from real life experiences contribute most in our success. Here I would like to mention some general skills which will help anyone to get ahead in any field. Selling skills – Sales is the basic of the all business. We always sell something even if our profile does not include sales. Money management – It is true to say that modern society is governed by constant exchange of money. A backup of sufficient funds enable you to meet any sudden or emergency needs. We see lots of people who are on high positions in an organization but see them borrowing money at the end of the month. To avoid such situation, start managing your income by recording & tracking income, expenses and savings. This will enable you to manage your resources and develop managerial skills.

Self discipline – Discipline gives direction to your life. Self discipline is setting rule for self and adhering to it. Once you set rules, there should not be excuses and you have to track your adherence with the rules.
