Aging represents the accumulation of changes in human being overtime. Herber Warner of National Institute on Aging once commented, the issues that cause aging are cumulative and the earlier you start remedying them, the much better off you are in the future. So, right away it’s time to start reviewing our lifestyle i.e. diet, exercise, sleep, stress busting and happiness status. Start rectifying your lifestyle, stop smoking and begin regular exercise including breathing exercise and pranayama. Sedentary habit is one of the most important and common factor for aging fast. Eat natural and whole food rather than processed and sugary. Detoxification of body is to be considered from time to time.

Living organisms started on earth approximately 3.3.7 billion years ago. Humans cannot achieve immortality, they have to die one day whereas some species on earth are blessed with immortality such as single celled or unicellular organisms as they multiply by dividing into two daughter cells so they do not age and are innately immortal. These organisms are bacteria, protozoa, algae etc.

Fortunately, doctors and researchers are starting to pay as much attention to the subject of aging as the rest of us are. They’re working to better understand the changes that come as we get older and what can be done about them. One thing is already clear from their studies; Aging is inevitable – there’s no way to stop the clock – but a gradual decline in good health and good looks isn’t. We can at least avoid the additional factors of aging than genetic or natural or unpreventable factors. We can avoid daily and regular attack of offenders of health on our body and prevent man made aging.

Humans are the only spices known to live decades past their reproductive years. Other creatures succumb to predators or diseases while still in their prime. During the 20th century, the average life span of people living in developed countries increased 60% from about 50 years to 80 years. As a result, the special health problems of ageing are being studied. The increase in life span is also due to better prevention and management of diseases.
Normal human cells die after dividing 50 times in laboratory culture and is called Hayflick Limit as it was discovered by Leonard Hayfleck, whereas cancer cells become immortal by loosing ability to die when maintained in a cell culture i.e. He La cell line –. Immortality of normal human cells is impossible but Hayflick limit can be increased by life style changes is studied now.

Aging kills maximum persons, it kills about 1,00,000 persons out of 1,50,000 die of aging daily. Factors affecting aging are of 2 categories i.e. programmed and damage-related. Damage-related factors include internal and environmental assaults to living organisms that induce cumulative damage at various levels. This cumulative assault speeds aging in considerable quantity. We can reduce this cumulative damage by developing the antiaging habits.
