Cricket fever is back!

The fever is back again and no one can escape from this fever and surely even you will not be able to escape as well because there is no medicine for this fever and it’s curable only when India brings the world cup to home.

Oh my god!, this must be your reaction when you started reading this article that which fever am I talking about. World cup cricket, which is being held in Australia from 14-2-2015 to 29-3-2015, India has initiated with an impressive win against arch rival Pakistan and everyone hopes India to continue with such performance and steadily move towards retaining the title. I still remember last world cup semi-final as well final when India crushed Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively. That night was not very different than Diwali when people burst crackers and illuminated their houses. Such wins also reflect harmony and unity in county as these celebrations was made by Indian, not by any specific religion or community. This world cup too we expect India to give us the same night by winning the world cup.

In last world cup Indian team shown great performance in batting, bowling and fielding and strategic planning was apparent in all team members. This year, master of cricket Sachin and gunner Yuvraj are not part of Indian squad who contributed a decisive role in winning all matches in last world cup but the perfect strategist and caption of Indian cricket team M S Dhoni is still there as caption. This time people have great expectations from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, M S Dhoni, R Ashwin, Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Shami.

India need to improve on fielding and bowling this time as it was a bit reason to worry in the opening match with Pakistan. India has to play six matches in it’s pool, each with Pakistan, South Africa, UAE, West Indies, Ireland and Zimbabwe. Out of these game with South Africa might be tough and team’s strengths are good bowling and fielding so India has to take note of this to win the game. Still we have big game changers and cricket is game of uncertainty and nothing can be predicted when we talk about cricket. But entire India is waiting for the repetition of the history and celebrate the festival of conquer.

So, it’s time to be gripped in fever and hope we get well only after the world cup. All the very best to Indian cricket team!
