This will be going to help you for sure!” I discussed about career opportunities in IT field and minimum requirements in the job aspirants to reach on the level where career in the IT field will commence. In this article, I will be discussing further progression in the IT industry.

As discussed in last article, IT has numerous opportunities for people as an executive, freelancer or an entrepreneur. Our dream to be successful does not get fulfilled only by reaching at the entry level of the industry but continuous professional and well as financial growth will also be required to achieve the long term goal. In IT, professional have number of domains where they can later upgrade to get consistent growth such as a technology keeps on changing with addition of more features or it’s functionality etc., so same up gradation will be required for the IT people to move along with the industry trends. In addition to this, with the passage of time in the industry where people add vintage in their profile by acquiring experience, an organized direction is required to be given in knowledge and experience acquired. People who easily understand the change in the market and industry and easily transform skills and abilities get more growth opportunities.

The base where one can begin with is any of the programming language like PHP, Dot Net, JAVA or any mobile application development technology. People who have problem in coding can choose any database like Oracle, SQL Server or can choose Software Quality Testing or Hardware & Networking as career.

For software, technical knowledge of any language with basic and advance parts are mandatory to start career for any Tier of the industry. Good analytic abilities with knowledge of software architecture will help in further growth in the industry. All the fields in IT, Software Development, Hardware & Networking and SQT are interrelated and have huge growth opportunities for people who have required knowledge and ability to troubleshoot any problem and managing company’s resources. The foundation begins with training in a particular domain in software, hardware or testing. After this, there are opportunities to develop specialization as Programmer, Network Administrator, Data Base Administrator, Testing and Debugging. With better foundation, individuals can do a better job in their field of speciality.
