New trends in IT field.
With the sands of time flowing, innovation, information and value will all come from outside of an organization’s own four walls. But those days of self-containment are finally over until recently when these were created internally by organizations’ design, production, sales and marketing and support teams. Many of today’s top IT Companies working on innovative and diverse techniques like cloud, everything as a service, post PC mobility, the consumerization of IT, social media, crowd sourcing and community content — are happening outside the organization. In 2014, this trend will continue and accelerate.

For the Chief Information Officer, this “outside-in” shift will require a new perspective. CIOs will need to re-design their organization’s internal networks, making them more flexible like the Internet, able to fully exploit the online communities that have emerged in the outside world. And these changes will need to be imparted rapidly. This comes to the aid of our IT industry which in turn is helpful in shaping it towards brighter opportunities.

Another trends that goes by the name of BYOD(stands for bring your own device) which was brought to us in the form of Mobile phones and personal hand held devices like tabs seemed to be promising .But with the passing of days this trend will soon be overshadowed by another trend that will come out stronger than BYOT and kick it towards oblivion. BYOT (short for bring your own technology) has already taken us by storm. Today all digital omnivores(gadget freaks) want to use their own apps, networks and all manner of Web applications and tools which has led to the creation of BYOT. All Digital device users or digital omnivores expect to have massive amounts of information at their fingertips, empowering them to make better, quicker decisions. Similarly, customers now fully expect a company’s website to offer features that include Google-quality search, the ability to mash-up information, and high-quality videos. But still for some organizations this privilege eludes them and it is far-far away from their reach.

This year 2014 is for seen as cloudy year. From email and applications to complete infrastructure solutions and even VDI everything is moving to cloud .Cloud has scaled to technological heights. Cloud offers solutions in the cloud that will help you to manage your on-premises environments. Project deployments is now a micro task, now the whole enterprise can be deployed on cloud in a matter of months which earlier took days of careful planning and strategy. Multi-cloud landscape will deliver new efficiencies for organizations. But it will also create new challenges and lot of jobs too.
