The entry of Reliance Jio seems to have set the tone for an action-packed 2017. Almost all mobile service providers have geared up to take on Jio Prime data and mobile telephony tariffs. After seven months of free data and calling services to hundred millions of customer base generated in few months of its launch, Jio now offers 1 GB per day 4G data free and restricted speed post day’s 1GB and free calling in home circle and roaming with as low as recharge of Rs. 303 monthly.

Other operators were just waiting for this announcement and didn’t delay in announcing their new tariffs to thwart more people to switch to Jio. Jio’s entry has left the mobile subscribers craving for more in terms of tariffs. Led by Reliance Jio, now other telecom operators like Vodafone, Airtel and Idea have joined the data bandwagon, offering several offers to entice the data-hungry Indians.

Out of 100 millions of Jio’s users, a big number is expected to turn up for Jio Prime traiff plan as customers want to show some loyalty to Jio which let people enjoy unlimited data for more than half year. And another good news for Jio is its improved services of data and calling which has declared Jio top in the list of high data speed with average speed up to 16-18 mbps in February 2017.
